Walton County may limit vacation rentals on 30A by enacting tougher parking regulations

Faced with a history of state preemption of local regulation of short-term vacation rental housing, Walton County planning officials have developed a proposed ordinance that would, among other things, create a local registration and licensing program for short-term vacation rental operators for properties south of Choctawhatchee Bay.
